Day 1 - Tel Aviv Arrival and Transfer to Nazareth

Day 2 - Nazareth, Cana, and Mount Tabor

October 7

Visit Annunciation, Cana, and Mount Tabor

Breakfast

After breakfast, we will visit the Basilica of Annunciation, then visit the holy cave where Mary lived, St. Joseph’s workshop and Mary’s well.

Visit to Cana

Drive to Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle and changed water into wine at the wedding feast. Here we will have the renewal of marriage vows and blessing of families.

After lunch we will ascend Mount Tabor, the place of Jesus’ Transfiguration.

Ascend Mount Tabor, the place of Jesus’ Transfiguration, where we celebrate Mass, and have sometime for meditation and pray while enjoying the view of the valley of Armageddon.

Day 3 - Capernaum, Tabgha, Mount of Beatitudes

October 8

Galilee Ministry Sites and Sea of Galilee

Breakfast

After breakfast, we will drive to Capernaum, home of Jesus during his public ministry, where he performed miracles and healings.

Drive to Capernaum, home of Jesus during his public ministry, where he performed miracles and healings. There we will see the ruins of the local synagogue and St. Peters house where Jesus would have stayed while ministering in the area.

Church of the Primacy of St. Peter

Visit the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter, where Jesus appeared to the apostles after his resurrection and instructed Peter to feed His sheep.

Mass on the Shores of the Sea of Galilee

There will be an unforgettable Mass on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, after which we will enjoy a peaceful boat ride across the Sea where Christ walked on water.

Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes

Visit the Church of the Multiplication of the loaves and fishes in Tabgha.

Ascend to the Mount of Beatitudes

Ascend to the Mount of Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon on the Mount, where we will have time for readings and meditation.

Day 4 - Jericho, Jordan River, Tiberias

October 9

Explore Jericho, Jordan River, and Tiberias

Depart Tiberias and Head Towards Jerusalem

Today we will depart Tiberias and head towards Jerusalem, on our way we will visit the Oasis town of Jericho, see the excavations of the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world.

Visit Jericho: Elijah’s Fountain, Tel Jericho, Sycamore Tree, Mount of Temptations

Visit Elijah’s Fountain, Tel Jericho, The sycamore tree, view Mount of Temptations where Jesus was tempted for 40 days by Satan.

Lunch

After lunch, we will drive via the Jordan Valley till we reach the Baptismal site on the Jordan River.

At the Baptismal site on the Jordan River, we will celebrate Mass outdoors and renew our baptismal vows.

Day 5 - Mt. of Olives and Mt. Zion

October 10

Explore Jerusalem's Sacred Mounts and Churches

Breakfast

After breakfast, we will drive to the Mount of Olives for a breathtaking panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem, from this vantage point; see much of what makes Jerusalem such a unique city to the three major religions: Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

Olive Harvest Experience

Start by a distinctive olive harvest experience (depending if it’s the season of harvest as sometimes it is delayed). Find fulfillment through an act of kindness – the money raised from the olive oil will go towards helping the poor!

Visit Chapel of the Ascension and Pater Noster Church

We will visit the Chapel of the Ascension and the Pater Noster church commemorating the Lord’s Prayer.

Walk the Palm Sunday Road to Dominus Flevit

Walk the Palm Sunday road to the Dominus Flevit church, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem.

Garden of Gethsemane and Church of All Nations

Proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane to visit the Church of all Nations for Mass on the Rock of Agony where Jesus prayed on Holy Thursday before his betrayal.

Lunch

After lunch, we will drive to Mount Zion to visit Dormition Abbey, the site of Mary’s last repose, and the Cenacle, the site of the Last Supper and the Pentecost.

Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu

Nearby is the church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, which commemorates the evening of Holy Thursday, where Jesus was imprisoned for the night and, where Peter denied Jesus three times, the site of the high priest Caiaphas.

Day 6 - Bethany, Ein Kerem, Beit Sahour, Bethlehem

Visit Bethany, Ein Kerem, Shepherd’s Fields, Bethlehem

This day after breakfast, we will drive to Bethany, where we will visit the Tomb of Lazarus, and celebrate mass.

Visit Ein Kerem

Head to the Village of Ein Karem, the site of the birthplace of St. John the Baptist, then visit the Church of the Visitation, where the Virgin Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth, pregnant with St. John the Baptist, and proclaimed the Magnificat.

Visit Shepherd’s Fields in Beit Sahour

Drive to the Shepherd’s Fields in Beit Sahour, where the heavenly host of angels announced the birth of Jesus.

Lunch

After lunch, we drive to Bethlehem to visit the place of our Lord’s birth in the Basilica of the Nativity, the oldest continually operating church in the world, dating back to the year 327 A.D.

Visit Chapel of St. Jerome and Church of St. Catherine

See the chapel of St. Jerome and the Church of St. Catherine where mass will be celebrated followed by time to shop for authentic olive wood products, mother-of-pearl and religious souvenirs at one of the local Christian stores in Bethlehem.

Visit Cremisan Monastery and Wine Tasting

Later in the afternoon a visit to the Cremisan Monastery to enjoy amazing views and discover the unique wine tasting experience as you taste wine from the fruits of the Holy Land.

Back to Hotel for dinner and overnight JERUSALEM.

Day 7 - City of David and Jerusalem Old City

October 12

Explore City of David and Jerusalem's Old City

Meeting with the Latin Patriarch

Get ready to have an interesting meeting with the Latin Patriarch and discover about the Christian presence in the Holy Land.

Visit Temple Area: Western Wall, Dome of the Rock, Al-Aqsa Mosque

Proceed to the Temple area where we see the Western Wall, the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Visit St. Anne’s Church and Pool of Bethesda

Visit St. Anne’s Church, the birthplace of the Blessed Mother. Also on the site is the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus cured the lame man. We have free time at the church for prayers and reflection.

Lunch

After lunch we will visit the City of David.

Visit City of David National Park

Starting point: City of David National Park Visitors Center. Impressive panoramic view from Beit Hatzofeh Lookout.

Explore Mazar Excavations and Government Area

Mazar Excavations – The Palace – an impressive public building from the period of the Judaean kings. The government area and remnants of private homes.

Underground Water System and Hezekiah’s Tunnel

The underground water system – Warren’s Shaft, the Spring House, and the Canaanite Pool. The Spring Citadel – feel the story of the Shiloach tunnel in an exciting film. Hezekiah’s tunnel (water depth up to 70 cm). Alternatively, it is possible to walk in the dry Canaanite channel. Endpoint: Pool of Siloam.

Day 8 - Jerusalem: Last Day of Jesus' Life

October 13

Walk Via Dolorosa and Holy Sepulcher

Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher

We start the day very early in the morning at the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher.

Ramparts Walk on Ancient City Walls

Afterwards, enjoy an unforgettable views of the old city via an exciting Ramparts walk on most of the ancients’ city walls.

Lunch

After lunch we will proceed along the Via Dolorosa to the Chapel of the Flagellation where our Lord was scourged, and visit the Ecce Homo church.

Via Dolorosa and Stations of the Cross

We will continue along the Via Dolorosa, praying at the Stations of the Cross, remembering the last steps of Jesus through Jerusalem on Good Friday and reflecting on the greatness of his sacrifice.

Church of the Holy Sepulcher and Jesus' Tomb

We will finish at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus was crucified and buried. We will visit his empty tomb and reflect on the fact that our Lord is indeed risen.

Special Dinner in Bethlehem with Dabke Show

Tonight a special dinner in Bethlehem with ‘Dabke’ a Palestinian folklore show.
