Hike back to the bus, and transfer to Pollone
Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the village, and visit Frassati family home. the site of family vacations. Visit the room Pier Giorgio occupied during his lifetime and the room that now houses the bed where he died where you can leave your prayer intentions on his bed. Visit the Cangio Church where Pier Giorgio was baptized and the family cemetery where Pier Giorgio was buried until his beatification in 1990.

Visit the Sanctuary of Oropa “the Shrine between earth and sky” founded in the 4th century where Piergiorgio often visited the Brown Madonna. After lunch, enjoy a walking tour of some of the sites relevant to Blessed Frassati.

Experience a moment when the communion of saints is most visible and the destination of your pilgrimage: the canonization of Pier Giorgio Frassati! This will take place during the Youth Jubilee Mass with Pope Francis (date pending confirmation).
